Our group is based in Aberdare in the Cynon Valley in South Wales. We are currently recruiting new members who will bring their energy and expertise to this expanding group of retirees - and those interested in keeping active - in what some describe as their golden years

We meet on the first Friday of every month (excluding August and December) at 2pm at Cynon Linc, which is in Seymour Street, Aberdare (CF44 7BD).

Our meetings are open to all members (and those wishing to join) and normally include a Guest Speaker (see Annual Programme) as well as a general meeting to update members on trips, events and programmes upcoming and local u3a matters.

Each person attending pays £1 and for that will receive a free raffle ticket (should they wish to participate).

The Annual Fee to be a member is £20 and this covers the cost of joining as many groups as you wish. An additional small payment by members is sometimes required where meetings are held in venues where there is a fee for the use of the venue.

Costs are low because our activities are organised by our members, who share their skills and expertise.
